Music label and independent platform for electronic, popular and new classical music

Ola Horhe – Ola Horhe

Ola Horhe was an electro-acoustic duo founded in Belgrade in 2007 by Andy Pavlov, who used original analog instruments (synthesizers) from the late ’70s, and Attack El Robot (a.k.a. Dragan Jovanovic) on drums.
Their collaboration began in the mid-’90s when they worked together on the musical project “E” as teenagers. They also performed in various clubs and venues in Belgrade, including a major festival for young bands held at Dom omladine in Belgrade.
Later on, the band expanded to a trio with the addition of Sonja Loncar (synthesizers and vocals) and Nemanja Acimovic on acoustic and electronic drums.
Ola Horhe’s first major show attracted significant attention, and this concert was chosen as the “Audience Choice Event of the Year” by the web magazine Popboks in 2008.
In 2009, they were named the Best New Band by Popboks.
Their first and only album was released as a free download by the EXIT label and on vinyl by the Odlican Hrcak record label. This album is influenced by electronic, classical, experimental, and krautrock music, with Andy Pavlov using a Polymoog synthesizer as an electric guitar and a Yamaha CS-15 synthesizer as a bass guitar.
